It's a Monday

That means I work tonite, the maid came in and will need to be dropped off. Well that means more money in my pocket, but also less. But the house will be immaculate. The lawn was watered yesterday, and I stocked up on supplies for the month. Had an amazing weekend of being busy at the ranch. Believe it or not I washed 6 cars, one of them twice. I cleaned the pool and hand scrubbed the top lapiz tile. Also helped move a tractor, scrubbed the roof of the aviary, and also worked in the yard and on several projects. Trimmed the palms, and had a good weekend of work. You never know what change will occur, and sometimes I think it was good that I had a lifestyle change. Heaven knows I used to try to buy happiness with luxuries and indulgences. It never worked.

Humpty Dumpty

Does anyone remember the scene in Risky Business where Joel's mother comes home and finds that her crystal egg has a defect? Just yesterday I walked into my study and found a faceted crystal dish and a large crystal egg laying on the floor. The dish, shattered, the egg chipped on the bottom edge. It seems that the I had some books placed upright on the bookcase, behind the crystal items, and the books fell causing the crystal to fall to the floor. The door had been closed, no pets inside, no maid service this week. My own actions caused me to lose two items that I previously swore that I treasured. Now the dish is in the dumpster and the egg is back on the shelf. Cracked edge to the back. You cannot perceive the defect unless you lift it. Probably no one will ever know. But I do. And I am not sure what is causing me more grief. The fact that my treasures are now so reduced, the fact that I caused it, or the fact that maybe they weren't treasures at all. Just expensive mollifiers from a life past.

Life is all about the details. They say the devil is in the details. I know I am into details. Kurt? He is all about the detail. Imagine the thought that goes into a sexy swirl.

When my face is in his butt. This is what Kurt told me to post. Base, I know. But somehow it speaks to the duality that is life and existence in this world. Smile, though your heart is aching. Smile, even though its breaking. Etc.

New summer look...

shorts and like sandals and maybe a tshirt or nice button up shirt with sleeves rolled up. This is what Kurt will be wearing. I may just do the same. Crossband sandals? Flat strap? Flip-flops? Huaraches? I do love the thought of a guy wearing cargo shorts and a short tee, seated at an outdoor restaurant with his sandal dangling off his foot. We shall see.

I can't believe there is an entire generation of children that do not know how to write in cursive. What else can they not do?

I'm a slut and I can prove it. Well, actually I am a pleaser who will do anything to win the favor of his friends. Kurt provided the photo and text. I provide the venue for his amazingly acerbic wit. You know, there are people that I will not even give them the time of day. Simply I cannot support their manner of being. But there are some people that have that certain I do not know what. I wish there was  phrase in a romance languange that would be sum up that concept. Kurt, Michael, Judson et al, have themselves firmly entrenched in being.

I am intrigued by the image. I wish Kurt could have found a better shirt for the individual to wear. The very thought of chambray takes me back to 1994. Polo chambray, Eddie Bauer PLEATED khakis, and of course Bass Weejuns. Deliver from me evil.
