Eight is enough?

Somehow seating for eight just does not seem right. I have service for ten after all. But Hebrew Nationals come in sevens. Of course eggs come in dozens. See what happens when I have too much time on my hands?

Abandon hope all ye who enter

Of course I am not Virgil, and this was not written by Dante Alighieri. So instead of hope, just abandon your cares. This has been a work in progress for the past three months. First they had to build the columns and wall. Concrete block reinforced with 1/2 rebar, filled with cement. Covered with cement. The gate is heavy gauge tubular steel, clad with iron plating. The lock is a Philips double cylinder.
